Customer Case study: Urban House
Urban House is a hotel/hostel hybrid located in the hippest part of Copenhagen, Vesterbro. Vesterbro is where the Red Light district meets the Meatpacking district. Alongside quirky cafes and restaurants; in the midst of it all is where Urban House was created. The house is just as much a part of the neighborhood as everything else, and so Urban House takes on the vibe of its surroundings and becomes the place where locals meet up as well.
In 2015 Urban House chose access solutions and wireless network from Intelecom.
Urban House wanted a solution which could be integrated with their PMS-system as well as allowing as much self-service as possible upon arrival of guests. Automated check-in/check-out, the possibility to go directly to the room upon arrival, self-service walk-in booking and high quality WiFi for accommodated guests were key issues.
Intelecom Access integrated with Mews PMS and a keypad based door lock solution, self-service kiosks placed in the arrival area at Urban House, a mobile application for guests to keep track of their bookings with options to place new bookings, and an enterprise grade wireless solution with the latest AC-standards. All combined into one fully integrated solution.
Guests at Urban House are now able to enjoy a fully automated self-service experience during their stay. The optimized wireless solution completes the guest experience, enabling the guest to go online with all devices to surf or stream with high quality and speeds up to 100 MB/sec.
When having an idea for a self-service concept, that no one has done before, it was vital to find a supplier that was not only a supplier, but also a partner to collaborate with.
